News: FTC Plans To Fine Warner Music For $1 Million Dollars.

The Federal Trade Commission is planning to fine Warner Music Group for violating child privacy laws regarding fan sites. The fan sites cover such artist as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Rihanna. Commissioner Edith Ramirez claims that sites collected street addresses, email addresses and phone numbers to over 100,000 children ages 12 or younger on BieberFever.com. These actions are illegal according to the Children’s Online Privacy Act.
