Mediabase Monday: Charting for 6/25/12 by @DaveHouseWHW

Kanye West “Mercy” gains #1 ranking replacing the Ca$h Out “Cashin’ Out” record which drops to #4 this week on the Urban chart

“Mercy” is about 600 spins from the #10 ranking on the Crossover chart and continues to grow

“Cashin’ Out” is about 900 Spins from a #1 Rihanna “Where Have You Been” record that jumped 5 spaces on the Crossover chart this week, passing Young Jeezy “Leave You Alone” & the Kirko Bangz “Drank In My Cup”, which is dying a BDS’s death

“Where Have You Been” is the #1 most played record on Top 40

Usher “Lemme See” is the most played record on the Urban chart w/ over 600 spins this week

2 Chainz “No Lie” feat. Drake is the #2 most played record, it moved up 8 spaces to fall at #8 this week on Urban, 700 spins away from “Lemme See”

Wale “Bag of Money” is at #11 on Urban but will be a top 10 record and which should kill the Elle Varner “Refill” position at #10, “Bag of Money” has to watch Wiz Khalifa “Work Hard, Play Hard” growth, Wiz jumped 6 spaces to #17.

Outside top 20 on Urban, Lil Wayne “My Homies” & Meek Mill “Amen” are both over 400 spins this week. Trey Songs/TI “2 Reasons” & the Amen record will be watching each others growth as they both approach the top 20 rank

Chris Brown has 2 records playing on the Urban Chart “Sweet Love” & “Til I Die” that needs more momentum or better call out. “Sweet Love” is about to die a BDS’s death.

“Til I Die” is dying a BDS’s death on the Crossover chart.

Outside the top 30 on Urban, Ne-Yo “Lazy Love” and Ciara “Sweat” w/ Waka Flaka are the records to look out for.

Brandy “Put it Down” just picked up Dallas, Atlanta, & Macon, GA but needs more Urban markets & more mixshow support from Richmond & Little Rock

Birdman “Born Stunna” (you couldn’t come up with a better title fam) is competing w/ “Put it Down” Urban mediabase spreadsheet as both records builds on the chart

Sterling Simms “Tell Her Again” gained17 new Urban stations this week totaling to 35 on title, this record has to get Richmond, VA back on title.

That Beiber urban & rhythmic radio run is just not helping the research on this record, Officer Laing from Shottas just kill off the markets that put the record into power.

Carly Rae Japsen is rolling at 500 spins this week on Crossover moving up 6 spaces to #21 & about 250 spins from the #18 Nicki Minaj “Beez in the Trap” record

Usher “Climax” is #1 on the Urban AC chart moving up 2 spaces from last week

Anthony Hamilton “Pray for Me” is the #1 most played record inside the top 10 on Urban AC & R. Kelly “Feelin” Single” is the most played record on the chart. Both are over 300 spins this week.

Maroon 5 “Payphone” w/ Wiz is about 200 spins away from #1 but has to watch “Where Have You Been” as that record grows on the Top 40 chart
