It’s official; the founder of the P2P sharing system Limewire, Mark Gorton will have to break the bank to pay the RIAA. The two agreed on a $105 million settlement that apparently both parties are “pleased” about. First off, I didn’t think Limewire was banking that much. Second, I doubt anyone at Limewire is that happy to pay all of this money. Either way, congrats to the RIAA. You righted a wrong. Now let’s figure out how to right the music industry!
