News: DJ Premier says: “Absolutely, absolutely we will {hear unreleased Gang Starr tracks}.”

Just in time to coincide with the Indie Series we’ve been doing over here at the site, DJ Premier (check out Part 1 & Part 2) made a special announcement the other day. According to the article on aboveGround Magazine, he stated that unreleased material will see the light of day on his own label, Year Round Records. This is an unexpected treat for any fan of Gang Starr and Hip Hop music in general. It’s hard to find another artist or group in this genre, or any genre for that matter, that has the legacy, integrity, and consistency of Guru and Primo. So, it’s only fitting that we get to hear the Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal once again courtesy of his longtime partner, DJ Premier.
